At this year's Vacation Bible School, we focused on the different character traits and virtues that can be emphasized in sports having a positive effect upon us. These traits also impact the way we approach living the Christian life. By instilling discipline, teamwork, focus, endurance and courage into our way of life, we can be successful living as a Christian in this world.At Camp of Champions each activity centers around the nightly Bible verse and theme of the evening.
The children participated in:
- Spring Training: The children played games focusing on teamwork and the sports theme of the evening.
- Pep Talk: The theme of the evening was presented in detail, along with the Bible verse using puppets
- Game Plan: Each team completed the workbook activities.
- Play Book: The memory verse and theme were reviewed as the children played sports-related games.
- Pep Rally: The nightly concepts were reinforced through musical activities.
- Fan Fest: The children created their own arts and crafts. Also a concession stand was open for free snacks.
- 4th Quarter: The closing ceremony where the nightly Bible verse and theme was reviewed.
