Gambrell's Sanctuary Choir enjoys a reputation for fine choral singing and quality worship leadership. Led by music minister John Simons since 2013, the choir has presented numerous major choral works and hymn festivals. However, the focus of the choir is on leading the church in worship week after week. The choir sings every Sunday morning -- usually an anthem and some other service music.
Sanctuary Choir membership is open to those who sing on pitch, can blend within a section of singers and will commit to rehearsal and worship attendance. Formal music training is not a prerequisite, but an openness to grow musically is important. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., and visitors are permitted to attend.
